Healthy chocolate banana bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Wet Ingredients

01 - 2 small mashed bananas (about 140g)
02 - 30g coconut oil
03 - 1 tablespoon light cream
04 - 1 egg (for brushing)

→ Dry Ingredients

05 - 225g whole wheat flour
06 - 1 tablespoon dry yeast
07 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
08 - 1 pinch of salt
09 - 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)

→ Filling

10 - Chunks of dark chocolate

# Instructions:

01 - In a bowl, combine the mashed bananas, coconut oil, cream, and egg
02 - Using another bowl, mix together the flour, yeast, baking soda, sugar, and salt
03 - Pour the dry ingredients into the wet ones and stir until you’ve got a soft dough
04 - Roll out the dough on a floured surface. Put chunks of chocolate on the dough and shape into rolls
05 - Brush the rolls with the beaten egg. Bake at 180°C for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown

# Notes:

01 - For extra crunch, toss in some sesame or flax seeds into the dough
02 - Want them sweeter? Add some more sugar or milk chocolate chunks
03 - To make it gluten-free, try rice, almond, or buckwheat flour
04 - Store in a sealed container at room temperature to keep fresh
