Set your oven to 350°F and butter up a 7x11 or 9x9 dish.

Brown the sausage in a skillet on medium-high, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain off the grease.

Beat together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth.

Add the hashbrowns as the first layer, followed by the sausage and cheddar cheese. Pour the egg blend right on top.
