Jalapeño Grilled Cheese (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 slices of Texas toast.
02 - 6 strips of crispy bacon.
03 - 4 medium jalapeños, cut in half and deseeded.
04 - 4 ounces of softened cream cheese.
05 - 1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese.
06 - 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
07 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder.
09 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt.
10 - 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 425°F. Coat the jalapeños with olive oil. Bake them for 15 minutes until they start charring. Let them cool and dice them up.
02 - Blend the cream cheese with the seasonings. Gently mix in the diced jalapeños.
03 - Spread butter on the outside of the bread slices. Layer the cream cheese mixture, some bacon, and cheddar cheese inside. Use the second slice of bread to close it.
04 - Set your pan to medium heat. Grill each side for 3-5 minutes, or until the bread is golden and the cheese melts nicely.

# Notes:

01 - Jalapeños can be roasted earlier.
02 - Softened cream cheese works best.
03 - Grating fresh cheese helps it melt better.
04 - Want it spicier? Leave some seeds in.
05 - Enjoy it fresh and hot for the best flavor.
06 - A fun upgrade to regular grilled cheese.
