Festive Jello Shots (Print Version)

1/2 cup of vodka or Irish whiskey

Green food coloring (if you'd like)

1/2 cup of cold water

1 cup of hot boiling water

1 small box (3 oz) of green apple or lime gelatin
→ Toppings (Optional)

Small shamrock-shaped candy pieces

Green glittery sprinkles or edible glitter dust

Whipped cream

In a big bowl, pour the gelatin powder and boiling water together. Stir it well so everything blends nicely. Add your cold water and keep stirring. Stir in the vodka (or Irish whiskey) until it's all mixed. Want it greener? A few drops of green dye can brighten it up!

Lay out the shot glasses or mini plastic cups on a baking tray so it's easy to move them around. Gently pour the jello mix into each glass, filling them about three-quarters full.

Pop the tray into the fridge for a few hours—2 to 4 should do it—until the jello is firm and set.

Take the jello shots out of the fridge. Add a swirl of whipped cream on top and sprinkle on some green glitter or stick on a shamrock candy. Serve chilled and enjoy safely with your friends.
