Turn your oven on to 180°C. Line a baking tin with parchment or grease and flour it.

Beat together the sugar and eggs until it turns light and fluffy. Stir in the yogurt.

Sift the baking powder and flour, then gently fold into the wet mixture. Avoid overmixing.

Pour the batter into your prepared tin. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Stick a toothpick in the center—it’s done when it comes out clean.

Let it cool a bit in the tin before taking it out. Move it to a rack to finish cooling.
