Spicy Glazed Wings (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Spiced Wings

01 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
02 - ½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
03 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - 2 pounds chicken wings, separated into flats and drumettes
05 - 1 teaspoon coarse kosher salt

→ Tangy Sweet Glaze

06 - 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
07 - ¼ cup brown sugar
08 - ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for extra kick)
09 - 1 tablespoon soy sauce
10 - ¼ cup any hot sauce you like
11 - ¼ cup pure honey

→ Toppings

12 - Chopped fresh cilantro
13 - Sesame seeds, lightly toasted
14 - Thinly sliced fresh green onions

# Instructions:

01 - Make sure your wings are dry by patting them with paper towels. This step really helps with crispy skin! Toss the wings in a bowl with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder until every piece is nicely coated.
02 - Decide how you want to cook these! For baking, line a sheet with foil, set up a wire rack on top, and bake at 400°F for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway. If frying is your thing, heat oil to 375°F and fry the wings in batches for about 8-10 minutes till golden brown. Either way, don’t stop till that skin is perfectly crispy!
03 - While waiting for the wings, grab a saucepan and mix together your glaze ingredients: honey, brown sugar, hot sauce, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and cayenne if you're aiming for extra spice. Cook over medium heat, stirring now and then, till it bubbles and thickens a bit – around 3-5 minutes.
04 - As soon as your wings are hot and crispy, mix them with the glaze so they’re all coated in sweetness and spice. Sprinkle with green onions, sesame seeds, and a bit of cilantro if you like.

# Notes:

01 - Dry wings are the key to that crispy texture.
02 - You can prepare the glaze ahead of time and just reheat before serving.
03 - Want milder wings? Use less hot sauce or skip the cayenne.
