Quick Cheese Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 teaspoons baking powder.
02 - 1 teaspoon salt.
03 - 4 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
05 - 2 tablespoons sugar.
06 - 2 cups all-purpose flour.
07 - 1 1/3 cups buttermilk.
08 - 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese.
09 - 2 teaspoons garlic powder.
10 - 2 large eggs.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan (9x5 inch).
02 - Stir together the flour, sugar, garlic powder, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Toss in 2 cups of the cheese.
03 - Whisk together the eggs, melted butter, and buttermilk until smooth.
04 - Gently fold the wet mix into the dry ingredients. Pour the batter into the greased pan.
05 - Sprinkle the last cup of cheese over the top. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and keep baking for another 20 minutes.
06 - Leave it in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.

# Notes:

01 - Mix the batter just enough—the less you stir, the better the loaf.
02 - The foil stops the cheese from burning while baking.
