Garlic Bread Sloppy Joes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound of ground beef.
02 - 1/2 cup of finely chopped yellow onion.
03 - 2 teaspoons of olive oil.
04 - Salt and pepper as needed.
05 - 1 ciabatta loaf, sliced lengthwise.
06 - 2 tablespoons soft unsalted butter.
07 - 1 teaspoon of garlic powder.
08 - 2 cups of cheese: 1 cup mozzarella and 1 cup sharp cheddar, shredded.
09 - 2 garlic cloves, minced.
10 - 1 1/2 cups of ketchup.
11 - 2 tablespoons of brown sugar.
12 - 1/4 cup of water.
13 - 1 teaspoon of yellow mustard.
14 - 1/2 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F. Use a lined baking tray. Slice the ciabatta and smear on the garlic butter.
02 - Heat some oil, cook the beef with onions, and get rid of the extra fat. Toss in the garlic, stir for half a minute.
03 - Add ketchup, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and water to the beef mix. Let it simmer for 20-30 minutes.
04 - Spread the sauce-beef mixture onto the ciabatta halves. Sprinkle both cheeses on top.
05 - Bake it for about 10 minutes until the cheese bubbles and the edges toast golden.

# Notes:

01 - Swap out the ground beef for turkey or chicken.
02 - You can prep the beef mixture ahead of time.
03 - Manwich sauce works if you're in a hurry.
04 - Toast the bread first if you want extra crunch.
