Turn the oven on to 350°F (175°C) and lay a sheet of parchment paper over your baking tray.

Stir the brownie mix and flour together in a big bowl. Crack in the eggs and pour in the oil, then mix until smooth.

Gently stir in the chocolate chips if using them.

Scoop out a tablespoon of dough for each cookie and place them on the tray, leaving about 2 inches between each one.

Put them in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes, until the edges have set but the center stays a bit soft.

Let the cookies rest on the tray for 5 minutes, then move them to a cooling rack to finish cooling.
