Sweet Salty Frito Candy (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup smooth peanut butter.
02 - 1 cup light corn syrup.
03 - 1 cup of white sugar.
04 - 14 ounces of Fritos (roughly one and a half bags).
05 - 1 cup of chocolate chips or melting chocolate.
06 - Optional: sprinkles for decoration.

# Instructions:

01 - Grab a baking tray, cover it with parchment paper, or place a silicone mat on top. Set it aside for now.
02 - Dump the sugar, corn syrup, and peanut butter into a big pot. Stir it over medium heat until it’s all melty and bubbling.
03 - Take the pot off the heat and fold in the Fritos gently until everything’s evenly coated.
04 - Use a big spoon or a cookie scoop to drop the mix onto the prepared baking tray.
05 - Leave the treats alone for about half an hour so they firm up at room temperature.
06 - Pop the chocolate chips into the microwave. Heat in short bursts of 30 seconds, stirring in between, until it’s smooth.
07 - With a fork, drizzle the melted chocolate over the treats. Toss some sprinkles on top if you feel like it.
08 - Wait until the candies are completely cooled before digging in.
