Croissant French Toast (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 croissants, sliced open
02 - 5 eggs, large
03 - 1 cup of half-and-half cream
04 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla flavoring
05 - 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
06 - Zest of one orange
07 - 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
08 - A pinch (1/4 teaspoon) of kosher salt
09 - 1 tablespoon Grand Marnier (optional)
10 - Powdered sugar for dusting
11 - Fresh fruits for garnish
12 - Whipped cream for topping
13 - Extra maple syrup for drizzling

# Instructions:

01 - Lightly coat a 13x9 dish with butter or oil
02 - Combine eggs, cream, vanilla, cinnamon, orange zest, optional Grand Marnier, maple syrup, and salt in a bowl
03 - Soak the croissant slices in the custard, making sure they absorb it all. Arrange them in your dish.
04 - Wrap it up and chill for up to a day.
05 - Bring it to room temp for 30 minutes, then pop it in a 375°F oven for 25-30 minutes till golden brown.
