Cheesy Chicken Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/4 cup parmesan, shredded.
02 - 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
03 - 8 oz of pasta.
04 - 2 cups of pasta sauce.
05 - 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped.
06 - 1/2 tablespoon of Italian spices.
07 - 1 lb of chicken breast, diced.
08 - Salt and black pepper, adjust to taste.
09 - 4 oz of mozzarella, cut into slices.
10 - Optional extras: chopped basil, grated parmesan, crushed red pepper.

# Instructions:

01 - Cook pasta till it's slightly firm, as the package says. Keep 2 tablespoons of the water before draining.
02 - Sauté the chicken pieces with garlic for 5-6 minutes until browned. Add spices, then discard any extra liquid.
03 - Mix the pasta sauce and shredded parmesan with the cooked chicken.
04 - Combine the pasta and saved water with the sauce. Lay mozzarella on top, cover until it melts.
05 - Garnish with optional toppings if you like and dig in.

# Notes:

01 - Sliced mozzarella also works well in this dish.
