Simple Meatball Sandwiches (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 24 store-bought or homemade meatballs.
02 - 2 spoons olive oil.
03 - 1 spoon Italian herbs.
04 - 1/2 cup breadcrumbs.
05 - 1 1/2 cups mozzarella, shredded.
06 - 1/2 spoon chili flakes.
07 - 1/2 spoon salt.
08 - 2 garlic cloves, chopped tiny.
09 - 1 egg, large.
10 - 2 cups marinara sauce.
11 - 1 pound ground beef, lean.
12 - 8 hotdog rolls.

# Instructions:

01 - In a bowl, toss together meat, crumbs, egg, herbs, garlic, and seasonings. Shape into 24 balls.
02 - Warm oil in a big skillet. Sear meatballs evenly all around.
03 - Lower the heat. Pour in sauce, cover it, and cook for 15 minutes until meat reaches 160°.
04 - Using pre-cooked balls? Get the sauce hot first, then throw in the balls and let them simmer for 25 minutes with the lid on.
05 - Switch on the broiler. Place buns on a tray and slide them close to the heat.
06 - Place three meatballs into each roll. Pour over sauce and top with cheese.
07 - Pop them under the broiler for about 2 minutes until the cheese bubbles. Stay alert!
