Easy Lasagna Dinner (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound of minced beef
02 - 2 tablespoons cooking oil
03 - 2 cans (14 ounces each) diced tomatoes
04 - 2 small cans (6 ounces each) tomato paste
05 - 1 teaspoon sea salt
06 - 2 teaspoons blend of Italian herbs
07 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
08 - 1/4 teaspoon crushed chili flakes
09 - 1/4 teaspoon powdered garlic
10 - 1 box (8 ounces) oven-ready lasagna sheets
11 - 1 cup grated mozzarella
12 - 1 cup of ricotta or soft curd cheese
13 - 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan
14 - 6 slices of fresh mozzarella rounds
15 - Chopped parsley for topping

# Instructions:

01 - Sauté the ground beef in oil until browned, drain off grease. Mix in tomato paste, diced tomatoes, and seasonings. Let it cook gently for 5 minutes.
02 - In a baking dish with some oil spread on it, alternate between lasagna sheets, the meat mixture, and various cheeses. Go until you're out of ingredients, then top it off with mozzarella slices.
03 - Wrap it with foil and bake at 350°F for 35-45 minutes. Pull off the foil, then bake for another 10 minutes so the top looks golden and bubbly.
04 - Let the dish sit for 10 minutes before cutting into it. Sprinkle parsley over the top right before serving if you want.

01 - Swap ricotta for cottage cheese if you like
02 - No boiling needed for noodles
03 - Cooling it makes slicing easier
