Chicken and Rice Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 chicken breasts, no bones and no skin.
02 - 1 1/2 cups of water.
03 - 1 cup uncooked long white rice.
04 - A 1-ounce pack of dry onion soup mix.
05 - One 10.5-ounce can of cream of mushroom soup.
06 - Add a pinch of salt and pepper to your liking.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 325°F.
02 - Coat a 9x13 dish lightly with cooking spray.
03 - Lay the chicken breasts flat in the dish.
04 - Add salt and pepper to the chicken pieces.
05 - Scatter the uncooked rice evenly over the chicken.
06 - Spread the onion soup mix across the top.
07 - Mix the mushroom soup and water together until smooth.
08 - Drizzle the soup mixture evenly over everything in the dish.
09 - Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.
10 - Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the rice gets tender.
11 - Make sure the chicken is cooked all the way through.

01 - Might take 25 more minutes depending on your oven's heat.
02 - Great option for busy weeknights.
03 - Add some veggies in the last half hour, if you'd like.
