Tasty bread pudding (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main ingredients

01 - 4 cups of stale bread, torn into roughly 1-inch chunks
02 - 1/4 cup melted butter
03 - 1/2 teaspoon of grated nutmeg
04 - 4 cups warm milk (not boiling)
05 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
06 - 4 whole eggs
07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
08 - A pinch of salt
09 - 1/4 cup raisins (adjust based on preference)

# Instructions:

01 - Scatter the bread chunks into a 22 x 22 cm greased dish.
02 - Sprinkle the raisins on top, making sure they’re distributed evenly over the bread.
03 - Whisk the eggs in a bowl. Stir in melted butter, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Gradually pour in the warm milk while stirring so the eggs don’t scramble.
04 - Pour the egg mixture over the bread pieces. Dust the surface lightly with nutmeg.
05 - Bake in the oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 45-60 minutes, or until the middle is firm to the touch.

# Notes:

01 - Serve plain or drizzle with some maple syrup on top.
02 - A great way to turn leftover bread into a sweet treat.
03 - It might seem a bit wet when it first comes out of the oven, but the extra liquid will mostly absorb after resting.
