Easter Popcorn Fun (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/2 cups pastel-coated chocolates
02 - 10 cups plain, unsalted popcorn (popped)
03 - 3 tablespoons butter (unsalted)
04 - 10 ounces marshmallows (mini size)
05 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
06 - Optional: food coloring like blue, pink, or yellow
07 - Nonstick spray (for hands)

# Instructions:

01 - Take the plain popped popcorn and put it into a big bowl, then leave it to the side.
02 - Over medium heat, melt the butter in a medium pan. Drop in the marshmallows and stir nonstop until smooth and creamy.
03 - Take the pan off the heat. Stir the vanilla into the mix. If you want, use separate bowls to add individual food coloring to portions of the mixture.
04 - Pour the warm marshmallow mix over the popcorn. Gently toss the popcorn to coat it evenly all over.
05 - Toss in pastel-coated chocolates and give it a light stir, just enough to combine without overmixing.
06 - Spray your hands with cooking spray, then form the mixture into balls about 3 inches wide.
07 - Set the shaped balls on wax paper and let them cool fully before serving.

# Notes:

01 - After adding the candy, mix lightly to keep it from melting.
02 - Wrap each popcorn ball individually in plastic wrap if you plan to gift them or use in baskets.
