Crispy Potatoes & Onions (Print Version)

01 - 6 bacon strips, chopped into pieces
02 - 5 pounds of red potatoes, sliced thin or cut into cubes
03 - 1 onion, diced finely
04 - Salt, use as necessary
05 - Black pepper, sprinkle to your liking
06 - ½ cup butter, cut into small chunks

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a casserole dish that’s 9×13 inches.
02 - Spread the potatoes evenly across the greased dish. Add the onion and bacon on top, then add the butter chunks all over. Cover with foil.
03 - Bake for 45 minutes in your preheated oven. Take off the foil and give the potatoes a stir.
04 - Switch your oven to broil and let the potatoes crisp up for about 5 minutes, stirring each minute so they brown evenly.
05 - Serve right away while it’s hot and golden brown.
