Creamy Shrimp Pasta Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pasta

01 - 1 tbsp salt (for water while cooking)
02 - 12 oz penne or linguine

→ Shrimp Scampi

03 - ½ cup fresh parsley (chopped)
04 - 1 lb large shrimp (cleaned and shells off)
05 - ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for spice)
06 - Salt and pepper as needed
07 - ½ cup chicken broth or white wine
08 - 3 tbsp olive oil
09 - 3 tbsp butter (unsalted)
10 - Juice from one lemon
11 - 4 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)

→ Cheese Topping

12 - ¼ cup breadcrumbs (only if you want crunch)
13 - ½ cup Parmesan (grated)
14 - 1 cup mozzarella (shredded)

# Instructions:

01 - Cook your pasta in salty water till it's firm yet cooked through. Drain, then leave it aside.
02 - On medium heat, mix olive oil with melted butter in a pan. Add garlic and pepper flakes, stir for under 30 seconds. Toss in shrimp and cook until pink, flipping after 2–3 minutes. Pour in wine and lemon juice. Let simmer for another 2 minutes, seasoning with parsley, pepper, and salt before removing from the stove.
03 - Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Mix cooked pasta with your scampi sauce, then spread into a greased 9x13-inch dish. Sprinkle breadcrumbs, mozzarella, and Parmesan all over. Bake uncovered for 16–21 minutes, watching for golden bubbling cheese.
04 - Add lemon slices and fresh parsley as a garnish, serve warm, and dig in!

# Notes:

01 - For tastiest results, pick fresh shrimp instead of frozen, as it’s juicier and has better texture.
