07 - 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley.
08 - 4 teaspoons Italian herb mix, split into portions.

12 - 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) so it starts heating up.
02 - Melt the butter with oil, mix in flour until smooth. Slowly pour in milk while stirring, cooking until it's creamy. Add salt and nutmeg for seasoning.
03 - Arrange shrimp in a baking dish, then sprinkle on 3 teaspoons of Italian seasoning and some salt.
04 - Pour the sauce over the shrimp, then add Cheddar, parsley, shallots, and the rest of the seasoning mix.
05 - Scatter breadcrumbs and Parmesan on top for a crispy finish.
06 - Put the dish in the oven for about 25 minutes until golden and bubbling.

# Notes:

01 - Fresh shrimp works best for this dish.
02 - The sauce consistency should be smooth and creamy.
03 - You can assemble everything earlier, leaving out the topping until baking time.
