# Ingredients:

→ Chicken must-haves

01 - 3 garlic cloves, chopped or left whole
02 - 1/4 cup butter, softened at room temperature
03 - 3/4 cup of chicken broth
04 - 0.6 oz packet of dry Italian seasoning mix (Good Seasons is great for this)
05 - 4 oz cream cheese, softened
06 - 10.5 oz can of concentrated cream of chicken soup
07 - 1.5 lbs of boneless, skinless chicken breast

→ Side ideas

08 - 1 lb of cooked angel hair pasta (follow package cooking instructions)

# Instructions:

01 - Spray your slow cooker with non-stick spray or line it with a special liner to save cleanup time later.
02 - Place your chicken breasts flat inside the cooker. Scatter the garlic cloves on top.
03 - In a microwave-safe bowl, melt cream cheese and butter together. When it's smooth, whisk in chicken soup, chicken broth, and Italian seasoning until it's fully combined.
04 - Pour the creamy sauce over the chicken. Cover with the lid and cook on a low setting for 6–8 hours or until the chicken becomes super tender.
05 - If you'd like, shred the chicken with forks about 30 minutes before it's done. Let the shredded chicken sit in the sauce to absorb more flavor.
06 - Boil your pasta according to the package directions while the chicken finishes cooking. Drain it and serve with the creamy chicken mixture.

# Notes:

01 - This dish is a breeze—5 minutes to prep, and then the slow cooker does all the heavy lifting!
02 - If you'd prefer an alternative to pasta, you can serve this over rice, mashed potatoes, or fluffy biscuits.
03 - Make sure to use a dry Italian seasoning packet for the best flavor. Avoid bottled dressing—it won't taste the same.
