Cheesy Beef Pasta Casserole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pasta & Meat Base

01 - 1 small onion, chopped very finely
02 - 12 ounces (340g) medium-sized pasta shells
03 - 2 cloves of garlic, minced fresh
04 - 1 pound (450g) ground beef

→ Sauce Components

05 - 1/2 cup (120ml) broth made from beef
06 - 1 can (10.5 ounces) creamy mushroom soup, condensed
07 - 1/2 cup (120g) sour cream
08 - 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced canned tomatoes with juices

→ Cheese Blend

09 - 1 cup (100g) mozzarella cheese, shredded fresh
10 - 2 cups (200g) cheddar cheese, shredded fresh

→ Seasonings

11 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
12 - 1 teaspoon mix of Italian seasonings
13 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced for garnishing
14 - 1/2 teaspoon ground paprika
15 - 1/2 teaspoon salt

# Instructions:

01 - Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease your 9x13-inch baking dish so nothing sticks.
02 - Boil pasta shells in salted water till they're just firm to the bite (al dente). Drain them and keep them aside.
03 - Using a big skillet, cook up your ground beef and onion over medium-high heat. Keep going until the beef's no longer pink and the onion softens up. Stir in garlic for a minute before you’re done to get all the flavor out. Drain off any extra grease.
04 - Stir diced tomatoes, mushroom soup, broth, and sour cream into your cooked meat mixture. Sprinkle in the paprika, herbs, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer a bit so everything mingles well together.
05 - Mix the cooked pasta into your sauce till every shell is coated. Spread this delicious mix evenly into your greased dish and top it off with both shredded cheeses.
06 - Bake for about 20-25 minutes, just until the cheese is beautifully melted, bubbling, and golden.
07 - Once baked, sprinkle on that fresh parsley for a pop of color. Serve hot while the cheese is still gooey.

# Notes:

01 - Kick up the heat by tossing in red pepper flakes
02 - For a loaded dish, add in some veggies like corn, mushrooms, or peas
03 - Want it extra creamy? Stir 1/4 cup of cream cheese into the sauce
