Crack Toffee Treat (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup chopped pecans.
02 - 35-40 saltine crackers.
03 - 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips.
04 - 1 cup brown sugar.
05 - 1 cup butter, unsalted.

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven to 400°F (200°C). Cover a 10x15 pan with foil and grease it with spray.
02 - Fit the crackers close together on your lined baking pan.
03 - In a saucepan, combine butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Stir till it’s smooth, boil for 3 minutes, and you’ve got toffee.
04 - Spread the hot toffee over the crackers and bake for 5 minutes until it bubbles.
05 - Take the pan out and scatter chocolate chips on top. Let them sit for 1-2 minutes, then spread them evenly.
06 - Scatter the chopped pecans on the warm, melty chocolate.
07 - Place in the fridge for an hour or leave at room temperature for a few hours till firm.
08 - Break it into pieces and enjoy with friends or family!
