Turn on the oven to 375°F. Combine powdered sugar and cinnamon for coating, then keep it aside.

Whip butter, vanilla, and powdered sugar until smooth. Add in the flour, salt, and pecans, mixing until it's all one dough.

Scoop about 1½ tablespoons of dough, roll gently into balls, and line them up with an inch of space on the baking tray.

Pop them in the oven for 9–12 minutes. Let the cookies sit on the tray for 5 minutes to cool.

While still warm, roll the cookies through the cinnamon-sugar mix to cover every bit.
