Set your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and dust three round 9-inch cake pans with flour.

Combine the dry ingredients—flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, and salt—in a big bowl. Add in eggs, milk, and vanilla, and stir until smooth.

Pour the batter into the three pans, making sure it’s distributed equally.

Cook the cakes in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out without batter.

Let the baked cakes cool in their pans for 10 minutes. Move them to a wire rack to cool fully afterward.

Melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler. Once melted, stir in the cream until it’s smooth and shiny.

Take the first cake layer and put it on your serving plate. Spread some ganache on top, then add whipped cream. Repeat this step with all the cake layers.

Add whipped cream on the top layer and sprinkle with nuts or curls of chocolate for the final touch.
