Chocolate Coconut Balls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips.
02 - 2 tablespoons of shortening.
03 - 1/2 cup of sweetened condensed milk.
04 - 1 3/4 cups of coconut flakes.
05 - 1 3/4 cups of powdered sugar.

# Instructions:

01 - In a big bowl, stir together the coconut, sugar, and condensed milk.
02 - Roll mixture into small 1-inch balls and set them on a pan lined with wax paper. Pop them in the fridge to firm up.
03 - Microwave the chocolate chips with shortening, stirring it up until it's silky smooth.
04 - Take the chilled coconut balls and dunk them in melted chocolate, shaking off the extra. Place them back on the wax paper to harden.
05 - Keep the finished candies in the fridge.
