# Ingredients:

01 - 2 big chicken breasts, split in two lengthwise.
02 - Season with as much salt and pepper as you'd like.
03 - 1/2 cup of plain flour.
04 - A tablespoon of garlic powder.
05 - A tablespoon of onion powder.
06 - 1/2 tablespoon of paprika.
07 - A pinch of cayenne pepper, about 1/2 teaspoon.
08 - Two tablespoons of olive oil.
09 - Two tablespoons of butter.
10 - One medium-to-large onion, sliced into strips.
11 - A cup of chicken broth.
12 - One teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce.
13 - A quarter cup of heavy cream.

# Instructions:

01 - Slice each chicken breast down the middle, lengthwise.
02 - Sprinkle salt and pepper evenly across the chicken pieces.
03 - In a bowl, combine the flour, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne. Save two tablespoons of this for later.
04 - Warm up the oil in a pan on medium-high heat.
05 - Cover the chicken pieces completely in the leftover flour mixture.
06 - Let the chicken cook for about five minutes on each side.
07 - Take the chicken out of the pan and place it on a plate.
08 - Turn the heat down to medium-low.
09 - Add the butter and sliced onions to the pan. Stir and cook for 15-20 minutes until the onions become golden brown.
10 - Sprinkle in the two reserved tablespoons of flour, stirring for a minute.
11 - Pour in the broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring it all together.
12 - Gently mix in the cream.
13 - Put the chicken back into the pan. Let it cook for 5-7 minutes until it's fully done. Add more seasoning if needed.

# Notes:

01 - Chicken thighs can be used instead for richer flavor.
02 - Lower the cayenne if you want it less spicy.
03 - Keep onions from burning by cooking over low heat.
04 - Chicken is fully cooked at 165°F.
