Gingerbread Brownies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/2 cups of light brown sugar.
02 - 1 cup of melted butter, unsalted.
03 - 2 tablespoons of molasses.
04 - 2 large eggs, brought to room temperature.
05 - 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour.
06 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla for flavor.
07 - 1 tablespoon powdered ginger.
08 - 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon.
09 - 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt.
10 - 1 teaspoon baking powder.
11 - Powdered sugar for sprinkling.

# Instructions:

01 - Set oven to 350°F and line a 9x9 pan with parchment paper.
02 - Stir together the butter and sugar, then blend in the molasses, vanilla, and eggs.
03 - In another bowl, sift together flour, cinnamon, ginger, salt, and baking powder.
04 - Add the dry mix little by little into the wet mixture until smooth.
05 - Pour into the pan and bake for 30-35 mins until the edges firm up and the center isn’t wobbly.
06 - Let cool down fully, then sprinkle with powdered sugar before slicing up.

# Notes:

01 - If using a 9x13 pan, adjust cooking time.
02 - Let it rest after baking for the best chew.
03 - Don’t slice until completely cooled.
