Cherry Milk Grey Tea (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Tea

01 - 1 cup water
02 - 1 Earl Grey tea bag or 1 tsp loose leaf

→ Additions

03 - ½ cup milk of your choice
04 - 4-5 halved and pitted fresh cherries
05 - 1-2 tsp vanilla syrup

→ Optional Extras

06 - 1 cinnamon stick
07 - Ice cubes (for iced version)

# Instructions:

01 - Cook cherries with 2 tbsp water for a few minutes until they soften. Gently mash them.
02 - Steep the Earl Grey in a cup of hot water for a few minutes. Take out the tea bag or strain the leaves.
03 - Warm the milk on low heat with the cherries and, if using, the cinnamon stick. Stir it every now and then.
04 - Mix in some vanilla syrup to suit your taste preference.
05 - Pour the brewed tea into a cup. Strain in the milk mixture, pressing the cherries to release their flavor. Stir it all together.
06 - Drink it warm right away or pour it over ice for a cold version. Optionally decorate with a cherry or cinnamon stick.
