Cheesy Pizza Dip (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Rich Cream Base

01 - 1/2 cup sour cream
02 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
03 - 1 tsp Italian seasoning
04 - 1 tsp garlic powder

→ Toppings and Layers

05 - 1 1/2 cups freshly shredded mozzarella cheese
06 - 1 cup pizza or marinara sauce
07 - 1/2 cup fresh Parmesan cheese, grated
08 - Fresh basil leaves (optional) for a finishing touch
09 - 1/2 cup pepperoni slices, halved if regular size

→ Serve With

10 - Tortilla chips, breadsticks, crackers, or sliced baguette

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Take out a 9-inch oven-proof skillet or pie dish, then coat it lightly with cooking spray.
02 - Blend together cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until smooth and creamy. Apply the mixture evenly across the bottom of your prepared dish. This will be the base layer.
03 - Spread the marinara on top of the creamy layer. Sprinkle half the cheeses, arrange pepperoni slices, and then add the rest of the cheese to complete the layered look.
04 - Place in the oven for about 20 to 25 minutes until it's bubbly and nice. If you want a golden top, broil it for a minute, keeping an eye out. Let it cool down a bit, toss on fresh basil if desired, and serve with your chosen dippers.

# Notes:

01 - Make it a day ahead and bake when needed.
02 - You can add veggies like mushrooms, olives, or bell peppers.
03 - Spice it up with red pepper flakes or spicy pepperoni.
