Set the oven to 175°C to heat up.

Combine the ground beef, eggs, spices, and breadcrumbs in a large bowl.

Place a sheet of parchment paper inside a loaf pan.

Put most of the bacon in the pan, draping the ends over the edges on both sides.

Spoon about two-thirds of the meat mixture into the pan. Make a groove in the center, fill it with shredded mozzarella, and cover it up with the rest of the meat mix.

Cover the top of the meatloaf with the remaining strips of bacon.

Pour a third of the BBQ sauce over the top and pop it in the oven for 40 minutes.

At the 40-minute mark, brush another third of the BBQ sauce over the meatloaf and return it to the oven for another 20 minutes.

Coat the meatloaf with the leftover BBQ sauce just before taking it out of the oven.

Serve the meatloaf nice and warm.
