Cheesesteak Loaded Fries (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 lbs fries.
02 - 1 lb thinly sliced steak.
03 - 2 tbsp cooking oil (for cooking steak).
04 - 1 tsp garlic powder.
05 - 1/2 tsp salt.
06 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (for sauce).
07 - 2 cups milk.
08 - 2 tbsp all-purpose flour.
09 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter.
10 - Chopped green onions for topping.

# Instructions:

01 - Grab a medium saucepan, warm up the butter on low-medium heat. Sprinkle in the flour and stir until smooth. Let it cook for about 1 or 2 minutes so there's no raw flour taste left.
02 - Slowly pour in the milk while whisking constantly. Stir until the mixture gets thick, which should take around 3-5 minutes.
03 - Turn down the heat and mix in the mozzarella until it's completely melted. Keep it warm and set aside.
04 - Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a big skillet on medium. Toss in the steak, season with garlic powder and salt, and let it cook until browned and done, about 5-7 minutes.
05 - Either follow the package directions to cook your fries or fry them in hot oil until they're crispy and golden brown.
06 - On a serving plate, spread out the fries. Add some steak on top, drizzle the cheese sauce generously, and garnish with green onions. Repeat layers if you like.
