Light Savory Quiche (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Quiche Base

01 - 1 roll of pre-rolled puff pastry
02 - 500 g of carrots
03 - 1 can of tuna (canned)
04 - A handful of shredded cheese

→ Filling Mixture

05 - 3 eggs
06 - 200 ml of fresh cream (or soy sauce as a replacement)
07 - 2 shallots
08 - Half a bunch of parsley
09 - 1/2 to 1 teaspoon cumin (optional)
10 - Salt to taste
11 - Pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to preheat at 180°C (355°F).
02 - Lay out the puff pastry into a 28 cm tart pan. Use a fork to poke little holes in the base.
03 - Chop the parsley and shallots finely. Clean, peel, and shred the carrots.
04 - Whisk the eggs and cream in a big bowl. Toss in the shredded carrots, flaked tuna, chopped parsley, and shallots. Add a sprinkle of cumin if you'd like, then season with salt and pepper.
05 - Pour the filling into the pastry crust and cover with the shredded cheese.
06 - Pop it in the oven and let it cook for 45 minutes.
07 - Enjoy warm with a tasty side salad.
