Burrata Toast (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 loaf of Italian bread or baguette, sliced into 1-2 cm pieces.
02 - 3 tablespoons olive oil, split.
03 - 1-2 garlic cloves, peeled.
04 - 2-3 cups cherry tomatoes, halved.
05 - 1/4 red onion, sliced thin.
06 - 1/2 cup fresh basil, roughly chopped or torn.
07 - 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar.
08 - Kosher salt and black pepper, to taste.
09 - Flaky salt for sprinkling.
10 - Balsamic glaze for drizzling.
11 - Extra olive oil to drizzle.
12 - Extra fresh basil for topping.
13 - Fresh burrata cheese.

# Instructions:

01 - Brush the bread slices lightly with olive oil. Toast or grill them, then rub both sides with a garlic clove.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine cherry tomatoes, red onion, basil, 2 tablespoons olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
03 - Lay the toasted bread on a serving plate. Add a bit of burrata on each slice.
04 - Top the bread with the tomato mixture, drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze. Sprinkle flaky salt and a bit of fresh basil over the top.

# Notes:

01 - Serve right away to keep the bread crunchy.
02 - The topping can be prepped up to 2 hours ahead.
