Burger Lasagna Fusion (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/4 pound spicy Italian sausage.
02 - 1 ciabatta roll.
03 - 2 tablespoons olive oil.
04 - 1 tablespoon salted butter.
05 - 1/2 teaspoon Italian herb mix.
06 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
07 - 2 minced garlic cloves.
08 - 14 ounces canned crushed tomatoes.
09 - A pinch of oregano.
10 - Salt and pepper to taste.
11 - Optional: chili flakes.
12 - 1/3 pound ground beef, divided in halves.
13 - 3 mozzarella slices.
14 - 1 lasagna noodle, cooked.
15 - 1 tablespoon creamy ricotta cheese.

# Instructions:

01 - Spread butter on both sides of your bun, sprinkle garlic powder and Italian herbs. Broil it until lightly crisped and golden.
02 - Heat olive oil in a pan, saute minced garlic, toss in canned tomatoes, and season with oregano, pepper, and salt. Let this bubble away for 10 minutes, then add some cooked lasagna noodles.
03 - Shape your beef and sausage into meatballs. Preheat a cast iron skillet on high heat, smash them into burger shapes, cook each side for a minute, then melt some mozzarella on top.
04 - Stack it up like this: bottom half of bun, a beef patty, some lasagna and ricotta, sausage patty, another lasagna with ricotta, another beef patty, one more lasagna with ricotta, and finally the top bun.
05 - Let your burger sit for a bit before digging in. It'll hold together better.

# Notes:

01 - You'll have enough sauce for 5 servings.
02 - Rest the burger for a sturdier sandwich.
03 - Store-bought sauce works too.
04 - Ciabatta bread stays firm and doesn't fall apart.
05 - A cool mix of two cuisines.
06 - Guaranteed to keep you full.
