Broccoli garlic sauce (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 medium-sized broccoli head.
02 - 1 small carrot.
03 - 1/8 teaspoon of salt for the sauce.
04 - 1 tablespoon of neutral oil.
05 - 4 garlic cloves.
06 - 5 tablespoons of water.
07 - 1 teaspoon of corn starch.
08 - 1 teaspoon of salt for blanching.
09 - 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce.
10 - A pinch of white pepper.

# Instructions:

01 - Chop the broccoli into small florets and slice the carrot into rounds.
02 - Cook the broccoli for about 1 to 1.5 minutes, then toss in the carrots for another minute.
03 - Combine the oyster sauce, starch, salt, pepper, and water in a bowl.
04 - Sauté the garlic, pour in the sauce, toss in the veggies, and give everything a good stir.

# Notes:

01 - Blanching keeps the vegetables crunchy.
02 - The sauce thickens quickly with the starch.
