Wrapped Cranberry Brie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup pecans, finely chopped.
02 - 1 egg yolk, large.
03 - 8 oz brie round.
04 - 1 thawed puff pastry sheet.
05 - 1 tablespoon of water.
06 - 1 cup cranberry sauce with whole berries.

# Instructions:

01 - Let the puff pastry soften following the package's suggestions, then get your oven warmed up to 400°F.
02 - Lay your brie in the middle of the pastry. Add the cranberry sauce and sprinkle over the pecans.
03 - If you'd like, cut out decorative leaves from the corners. Bring the edges of the pastry up over the brie, pinching the seams together, and place the cutouts on top.
04 - Whisk together the egg yolk and water, then brush a layer onto the pastry to give it that golden finish.
05 - Put it on a baking tray lined with paper and bake for 18-20 minutes until the pastry's golden brown and nice and flaky.

02 - Goes perfectly with fruit or crackers on the side.
