Beef and Cream Shells (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Shells pasta, 8 ounces.
02 - Olive oil, 1 tablespoon.
03 - Chopped half of a medium onion.
04 - Ground beef, 1 pound, lean.
05 - Three minced garlic cloves.
06 - 1 teaspoon of chili powder.
07 - Tomato sauce, 14 ounces.
08 - Beef broth, about ⅓ cup.
09 - Heavy cream, ¼ cup.
10 - Salt and pepper, adjust to your taste.

# Instructions:

01 - Bring water to a boil. Toss in the shells. Cook them until firm but not hard. Drain and put them aside.
02 - Heat up oil and sauté the onion for 5 minutes. Drop in the ground beef, cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Remove extra grease. Add garlic and the chili powder.
03 - Stir in broth with tomato sauce and let it bubble gently for a few minutes. Pour in the cream. Add salt and pepper to taste.
04 - Mix your cooked pasta into your sauce. Serve while it’s piping hot.
