Baked Ziti Sausage (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound sweet Italian sausage.
02 - 1 pound ziti pasta.
03 - 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes.
04 - 4 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded.
05 - 1 cup Romano cheese, grated and split in half.
06 - 3 cups marinara sauce.

# Instructions:

01 - Turn oven to 350°F and heat it up. Coat a 9x13 pan with a little oil or butter. Cook pasta so it's firm but not mushy.
02 - Brown the sausage in a pan over medium heat until cooked through. Scoop out the sausage, leaving excess grease behind.
03 - In a large bowl, toss together the pasta, sausage, marinara sauce, half the Romano cheese, and the diced mozzarella.
04 - Spread the mixture evenly in the baking dish. Sprinkle the rest of the Romano cheese and the shredded mozzarella over the top.
05 - Cover it and bake for 45 minutes at 350°F. Then uncover it, turn the oven up to 375°F, and bake for about 15-20 minutes until it's bubbling.

# Notes:

01 - You can prepare it a day early if refrigerated.
02 - Freezes well for up to 3 months.
03 - Feeds 6 to 8 happy eaters.
