Slice the bell peppers into strips. Finely chop the garlic and red onion.

Cook the red onion and garlic in olive oil for 5 minutes. Stir in the peppers, crushed tomatoes, and herbs. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, and let it simmer for 15 minutes.

Lay the fish slices in a casserole dish. Pour the Provençal tomato sauce on top.
