Cheesy Crab Dip (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/4 cup sour cream (plain, unsweetened).
02 - 8 ounces lump crab meat, thoroughly dried.
03 - 1 teaspoon Old Bay spice mix.
04 - 2 tablespoons mayonnaise.
05 - 8 ounces cream cheese, brought to room temperature.
06 - 2 tablespoons thinly cut chives.
07 - 3/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded.
08 - 1 teaspoon lemon juice (fresh is best).
09 - Optional: 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce for extra kick.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F (177°C) before starting to prepare.
02 - Blend the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayo, Old Bay, and lemon juice until smooth and creamy.
03 - Mix in cheddar, chives, and hot sauce if you'd like. Taste and tweak spices if needed.
04 - Carefully fold in crab meat, making sure to keep the pieces chunky.
05 - Spoon the mixture into an oven dish and bake for around 20 minutes until bubbly and heated through.
