Set your oven to 350°F. Use foil to line your baking dish or sheet for easy cleanup, or just lightly coat it with a cooking spray.

Dry the little smokies with some paper towels. Take each sausage and roll it in a bacon slice. Hold everything in place with a toothpick.

Pour the brown sugar into a big zip-top bag. Toss a few bacon-wrapped sausages inside, close it up, and shake to coat. Put them onto the prepped dish or tray.

Once all sausages are on the tray, sprinkle as much freshly ground black pepper as you want on top.

Pop the tray into the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes until the bacon looks golden. If you want it crispier, broil for another minute or two until it’s just right.
