Bouchées croustillantes au bacon et cheddar (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Egg - 1 piece
02 - Soft butter - as needed
03 - All-purpose flour - as needed
04 - Baking powder - 1 tsp
05 - Salt - adjust to taste
06 - Pepper - adjust to taste

→ Toppings

07 - Grated cheddar - 80 g
08 - Crispy fried onions - 40 g
09 - Bacon strips - 100 g

# Instructions:

01 - Throw the bacon strips into a frying pan (no oil needed) over low heat and let them sizzle for about 4-5 minutes.
02 - Grab a large mixing bowl and combine flour, baking powder, softened butter, egg, salt, pepper, cooked bacon, grated cheese, and crispy onions.
03 - Work the dough with your hands or a mixer until it comes together smoothly.
04 - On a baking tray lined with parchment paper, make around 14 equally spaced dough balls. Gently flatten each one and sprinkle extra cheese on top if you'd like.
05 - Pop the cookies into a 180°C preheated oven for 20 minutes.
06 - Move the cookies to a cooling rack and let them cool down a bit before digging in.
